On this program we talk with Amde Hamilton of the Watts Prophets, who reads poems from his book Me Today, You Tomorrow, and recounts how out of the Watts riots of 1965 grew screenwriter Budd Schulberg’s Watts Writers Workshop, where the original rap group The Watts Prophets were born.
